What is a PMO Health Check?
PMO stands for Preventive Medical Examination. It provides employees with insight into selected aspects of their health and may lead to recommendations, further evaluation, or guidance.
At Aepril Clinics, we combine a discussion about personal health with a physical examination and health assessments. We review medical history, any symptoms, lifestyle, and relevant workplace factors. Which tests are appropriate depends on the purpose of the evaluation and the employee’s situation. We clarify in advance which components are included. A Health Check is a snapshot in time. Normal findings do not rule out all conditions. That is why a doctor always discusses the results in the context of the individual’s personal situation.

During this Health Check, the doctor determines which tests are appropriate based on the medical intake, your personal situation, and the purpose of the examination. This option allows for a tailored approach. We agree on the scope and costs in advance. Any additional tests will be discussed first.

A combination of a physical examination, health assessments, and selected blood test results.
This Health Check combines a medical intake and physical examination with blood tests. The doctor compiles the findings and discusses what they mean for the employee.
The Health Check includes:
- A medical intake assessment that focuses on medical history, medications, any symptoms, and lifestyle.
- Physical examination, including an assessment of the heart and lungs.
- Blood pressure check and scheduled body measurements.
- Venous blood draw at one of our partner’s blood draw sites.
- Laboratory testing of selected blood parameters.
- Medical evaluation of the study results.
- A comprehensive medical consultation with personalized advice and any necessary next steps.

Sometimes, a repeat test or additional testing is necessary. The doctor may also recommend contacting the employee’s primary care physician. The feedback is personal and confidential. Individual blood test results, diagnoses, and medical advice are not disclosed to the employer.

1. We’ll discuss your organization’s needs
We’ll discuss which employees you’d like to include in the program, which packages might be appropriate, and how the planning and communication will be organized. You’ll receive clear information about the content and costs in advance.
2. Employees receive information and instructions
Participating employees will receive an explanation of the selected package, the blood draw, and the medical feedback. They will also receive instructions on any necessary preparations, such as arriving on an empty stomach.
3. Blood collection and laboratory analysis take place
Employees visit one of our partner’s blood collection sites. The laboratory then analyzes the tests included in their package.
4. Each employee reviews their own results
A doctor reviews the results and discusses them with the employee during a virtual or in-person consultation. The employee receives personalized advice on any next steps.
