Venous Blood Test
Would you like to understand your selected blood test results? Aepril Clinics offers venous blood testing: blood is drawn from a vein and then analyzed in a laboratory. Which results are relevant depends on your specific concerns and personal situation. The results are medically evaluated. This gives you a clearer understanding of what the test results mean and whether further action is needed.

Medical Weight Management

A test result or measurement becomes meaningful when viewed in the context of your health. That’s why, during a PMO: Health Check, we take the time for a personal consultation. Together, we discuss what the findings mean and what you should focus on. Sometimes, the next step involves your lifestyle. Sometimes it’s advisable to repeat a test or undergo further testing. If necessary, the doctor will recommend that you contact your primary care physician or another healthcare provider. A health check is a snapshot of your current health and cannot detect or rule out all conditions.

That depends on your questions, medical history, and the purpose of the exam. Not everyone needs a more comprehensive package. We’re happy to help you make the right choice.
We use venous blood sampling to ensure the most accurate results. This involves drawing blood from a vein, usually in your arm. The procedure takes place at one of the blood collection sites in the Netherlands; there’s always a location near you. The blood is then analyzed by the best testing laboratory in the Netherlands.
That depends on the values being tested. You will receive instructions for your kit in advance. Do not stop taking your prescribed medication on your own.
Every Health Check and blood test includes a comprehensive consultation with a doctor to discuss the findings. For standalone blood tests, the results are medically reviewed; the package page specifies what type of feedback is included.
No. A Health Check provides insight into the aspects of your health that were examined at that time. Not all conditions can be detected through these tests. Even normal test results do not rule out every possible cause of symptoms.
The doctor will evaluate the results in light of your personal situation. An abnormal result does not automatically mean that you are sick. Sometimes a repeat test, additional testing, or a follow-up with your primary care physician is necessary.
Yes, you can also inquire about a health check or blood test even if you don’t have any symptoms. We’ll determine which test best suits your goals and what insights you can expect from it.
