Aepril Cosmetic Clinic is a fast-growing clinic with locations in Hengelo and Utrecht, focused on cosmetic treatments and a high-quality client experience. Under the leadership of Dr. Elnaz Alagha, we specialize in Botox, fillers, skin treatments, medical weight loss, and surgery. Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who understands SEO as a combination of technology, content, and user-friendliness, and who actively delves into AEO and GEO. Our co-owner is enthusiastic about the opportunities SEO offers; he writes all the blog posts and web pages himself and, in just six months, has achieved multiple top 10, top 5, and top 3 rankings—as well as a few No. 1 positions—in the Netherlands. So you’ll be working directly with a passionate director who truly understands the value of your work.
You’ll research how our target audience searches for information, what questions people ask, and how we can best answer them. You’ll make our content clear and accessible to visitors, search engines, and AI systems.
You can prioritize opportunities and carry them out independently. In doing so, you consider searchability and visitor traffic, as well as relevant inquiries and appointments. You translate new developments into well-founded experiments and concrete improvements.
Among other things, you bring the following:
- Proven experience with SEO and organic growth;
- Knowledge of technical SEO, content optimization, and local SEO;
- Knowledge of AEO/GEO and, preferably, experience with testing and monitoring visibility in AI responses;
- Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools;
- Experience with WordPress and structured data;
- The ability to translate keywords and customer questions into a clear content strategy;
- A clear writing style and an eye for reliable medical information;
- A proactive attitude and the ability to set priorities.
About this position
What will you do?
SEO Strategy and Research
- Develop an SEO strategy for our treatments and locations;
- Research keywords, search intent, customer questions, and the competition;
- Identify opportunities for new pages and existing content;
- Set priorities based on relevance, feasibility, and expected impact.
AEO & GEO
- Structure our content around clear questions and substantive answers;
- Investigate how Aepril Clinics and our treatments are represented in relevant AI responses;
- Working to ensure consistent information about our clinics, doctors, and treatments;
- Clearly indicate authorship, medical review, and source citations;
- Test improvements and track the results;
- Translating developments in AI search behavior into practical recommendations.
Content and Website
- Optimize treatment pages, location pages, blogs, and frequently asked questions;
- Improve titles, meta descriptions, internal links, and page structures;
- Creating content briefs and writing or editing texts;
- Review medical content with our doctors;
- Help visitors find information and easily schedule an appointment.
Technical and Local Searchability
- Identify and resolve technical issues, working with a web developer when necessary;
- Working on indexability, website performance, and relevant structured data;
- Improving Google Business Profiles and local visibility;
- Ensuring consistent business data;
- Explore relevant partnerships and high-quality link opportunities.
Measurement and Collaboration
- Track organic traffic, search visibility, and conversions;
- Monitoring visibility in AI responses, while keeping in mind varying results and measurability;
- Translating results into concrete next steps;
- Collaborate with our Google Ads specialist and content creator;
- Keep the founders regularly informed about progress and opportunities.
