In the morning, apply 4 to 5 drops to clean, dry skin on your face, neck, and décolleté. Then use your other skincare products and finish with sunscreen. The serum is not a substitute for sun protection.
Avoid contact with the eyes. The serum contains salicylic acid: if you are already using an exfoliant, retinol, or an acne cream, consult your doctor about using them together first. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor. Close the bottle immediately after use and store it in a cool, dark place.

Silymarin is an antioxidant derived from milk thistle. Sebum on the skin can oxidize when exposed to sunlight and air; SkinCeuticals designed this serum to help minimize that. The brand investigated this in its own four-week study involving 35 participants. Salicylic acid refines skin texture. Results vary from person to person.
