What they have in common
Both Sculptra and Radiesse stimulate the skin’s own collagen production, as they encourage the body to initiate its own renewal process. This makes both products interesting for women who are looking for longer-lasting results than with ordinary fillers.
Gradual and long-term
Sculptra
Sculptra is based on poly-L-lactic acid and works entirely through collagen stimulation. It does not itself add any visible volume; the body does that itself over time. The result is therefore gradual, natural and lasts an average of two to three years. Sculptra is ideally suited for women who want a subtle, diffuse rejuvenation of the face as a whole, without anything immediately visible externally. It requires patience, but rewards that patience with a result that looks completely like yourself, only fresher.
Firming and immediate improvement
Radiesse Hyperdiluted
Radiesse is calcium hydroxylapatite-based and offers two benefits at once. In its diluted form, also called hyperdiluted, it gives an immediate improvement in skin quality while simultaneously triggering collagen stimulation. Results are visible faster than with Sculptra and last an average of twelve to eighteen months. Radiesse is particularly effective for areas such as the neck, décolleté and hands, as well as for the face as an adjunct to other treatments.
