Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, is a condition that affects many more people than you think. You are constantly aware of your armpits. You avoid certain colors or fabrics. You worry on hot days or during tense moments. It greatly affects your self-confidence and your daily life. And yet hardly anyone talks about it. Botox is a proven, effective treatment for excessive sweating. It has been used worldwide for years, and at Aepril Clinics, we offer this treatment under the supervision of a physician.

Hyperhidrosis Botox

How does botox work for excessive sweating?

Botulinum toxin blocks the nerve signals that activate the sweat glands. By inserting botox into the armpits, the sweat glands in that area are temporarily shut down. You sweat significantly less there, while the rest of your body continues to sweat as normal.

The treatment takes 30 to 45 minutes. We insert a grid of small injections into the armpits. This is slightly uncomfortable but doable.
